In India, Patna Has been Declared as World’s Longest Free Wifi- Zone. Chief minister Of Bihar Nitish Kumar unveiled the Free Wifi zone. Patana is capital city of Bihar Beats the record of Beijing as world longest Free wifi zone of 20 km . This was Declared in February 2014.
This Zone is from NIT-Patna to Danapur,You get Absolutely free wifi access Which is 20 km and the longest zone. People really enjoying this service because it is free of cost. Internet charges and plan are costlier and number of smartphones are increased as well. Internet facility is the most probable choice of youth and tech persons. This has made the people of patna to rejoice !
After having this facilities ,the CCTV Surveillance also declared.This will help Bihar in IT development and Progress.
Recently Narendra Modi (Current P.M of india) Promised that Ahmedabad (City of Gujarat) will also get Wifi zones Soon.
After all now India is also getting 4G services and free Wifi zones. So we can expect that in upcoming time it may have more features for IT-Sector and more facilities might be declared.
