CES 2016: LG to launch lightest Windows 10 laptop

At CES 2016, LG will finally take wraps off its extremely lightweight Gram laptop running Windows 10. The LG Gram laptop is a 15.6-inch machine weighing just 980 grams. It will take the crown of being the lightest 15-inch laptop in the world.


The LG Gram will be powered by sixth gen Intel Core processors. For comparison, Apple’s 12-inch Macbook weighs 920 grams while the 13-inch Macbook Air weighs well over 1 kilograms.

LG will also showcase three new Ultrawide monitors with 21:9 aspect ratio. All the three monitors will sport 3440 x 1440 pixel display and ThunderBolt 2 port for connectivity. Two of the models will come with curved screens while other model will sport a normal flat panel.

Also in the offing are two new 4K monitors in the UD68 and UD88 series. These panels will come with USB Type-C port and feature AMD’s FreeSync technology for fluid gaming experience. The 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) starts on January 2016 and we will be bringing you all the updates from the show.
